Alessandro Dell'Acqua
It’s as a student at the Beaux Arts in Paris that Alessandro Dell’Acqua gained recognition for his perfect command of fluid and see through materials. Hired by one of the most important Italian brands, Genny, the young designer monopolized all the attention of fashion professionals and designed a collection for Versace.
Later on, Alessandro was named artistic director of the Pietro Pianforini. He soon became an expert in terms of wool, cashmere, and jersey materials. As time went by, he attracted other important ready-to-wear brands such as Iceberg, Les Copains and Mariella Burani. Well-experienced, Alessandro Dell Acqua launched his own label in 1996. His harmonious lines flirting with strict cuts propelled him to the top of the fashion industry. Infatuated with pastel tones, he likes to create illumined silhouettes with lighting effects. By mixing noble materials, like silk and cashmere to raw materials, he transforms the traditional image of luxurious creations and proposes instead, an ultra modern and eccentric look.
